Story

Why we started.

We wanted an EVM chain where finality is instant, fees are predictable and the people who secure the network decide how it evolves.

Instead of inventing new primitives, we built on battle-tested open source: the Cosmos SDK, CometBFT and Cosmos EVM. Our work goes into the economics and safety layers: rewards on stake, a fixed fair commission, standby validators, the fee burn and an emergency freeze controlled by governance.

Cockroach Chain is developed with the support of Cockroach Chain LLC, a company registered in the Republic of Panama.
